Cuomo to the winning wineries. “To win this award for the second straight year is very exciting for us,” commented Dave Peterson, Owner of Swedish Hill Winery, on the recent honor. “We pride ourselves in making world class wines of varying types and styles with each vintage. Winning this award is a reflection of the consistency of our wines as many, such as the Dry Riesling, are winning top honors year after year at competitions across the country. What is more thrilling is being honored with top awards for our reds, whites and sparkling wines, showcasing the ability of not just us but the region as a producer of quality wines of different varieties. These honors are truly gratifying.”

Swedish Hill Winery will have some of these gold medalists, along with some of their other popular varietals, available for tasting at their Wine Village booth at this year’s fair taking place August 21st through September 1st.
