Blue Waters Pinot Noir Wins “Best of Class” in California
This competition is one of the oldest and longest-running wine competitions in the nation that is now combined with the West Coast Wine Competition in a East Meets West showdown.
The 2013 Blue Waters Pinot Noir is Swedish Hill’s first Pinot Noir and has been impressing our tasting room visitors with its fruit driven flavors for a drier red wine. With a medium body and velvety smooth finish, it is easily a great food pairing wine or one to enjoy by itself on these colder winter evenings.
The other two gold medalists at this competition included the 2014 Blue Waters Riesling and the sparkling Blanc de Blanc. Swedish Hill also won five silver medals and six bronze. To see complete results of this competition click here.
